Western Front Diorama’s

Marking the 100th Anniversary of the First World War, comes the Extension to the Hyde Park War Memorial.

We were honored to be involved in the making of two dioramas depicting the Australians involvement in the Western Front.

The Pillbox Model depicts a day in battle when the Australians over turned the Germans who used the “pillbox” as a fortress in battle.

The Second Model shows a section of a Tunnel Construction which was used to advance into enemy lines under ground. the idea was to cram as many explosives down the tunnels and to also be as quiet as possible. the germans caught onto what was happening, they would send soldiers down to listen for diggers, filling their TUNNELS with explosives also trying to COLLAPSE the Australians TUNNELS.
